Sampé gin design featured in Brand New’s Friday Likes section

We’re thrilled to share that our Sampé gin design has been featured in prestigious Brand New, in “Friday Likes” section. Brand New, a division of UnderConsideration, is renowned for its insights on corporate and brand identity work. This publications is an honor for us, underscoring our commitment to creativity and innovation.

Here is the published text:

“SAMPÉ gin is a high-end gin distilled in Croatia that unlike other gins made from grain distillate it is made from wine distillate obtained from the finest Croatian grapes that is then infused with “authentic Mediterranean aromas such as pine, sea fennel, lemon and Adriatic sea salt”. The packaging, designed by Zagreb, Croatia-based Dig Studio (previously Izvorka Jurić Design Bureau), pays homage to the sea with a stunning bottle that is flat on the back and undulated on the front, reminiscent of the surface of the sea. The name of the gin — typeset in Rector (by fellow Croatian Hrvoje Živčić) — is printed on the back of the bottle and the combination of the gin inside and the texture of the bottle makes it look like the type is under water, shape-shifting as the bottle is moved. Every element is so well considered, from the embossed glass typography to the contrasting label on the neck to the more copy-dense sides. Just stunning.”
