Slobodna Dalmacija interview: I love working for Dalmatian brands; they have a special emotion.

Check out our interview with Olgica Grizelj-Ivić for Slobodna Dalmacija

Here is the opening excerpt of the interview titled Izvorka Jurić: I love working for Dalmatian brands; they have a special emotion. They are an endless design inspiration:

“Often, we are not aware of how important packaging and branding are. We realize this when a product attracts us with its appearance or when a brand tells its story. About Design Bureau, designer Izvorka Jurić, we seemed to know the most when she designed the interesting bottles for Brachia olive oil. However, since then, this author, together with her business partner, designer Jurica Kos, has left a mark on a series of products. Their brand is entering a new phase under the name Dig Studio.

We know that “dig” in English means excavation, and thanks to the in-depth excavation of the right strategies and branding, this studio has won around 50 international and domestic awards over 25 years, including the repeatedly acclaimed Red Dot, Pentawards, Ed-Awards, and Graphis awards. They have been featured in prestigious magazines such as Monocle, I.D., Print, Novum, and The Dieline, while their overall references have attracted international clients to Dig Studio in Zagreb. So far, they have branded the London restaurant chain Ceru, French dietary supplement manufacturer Greenwhey, Dutch agronomy brokers Planture, Dutch plant-based food brand Next Level Naturals, and various pet food brands from Pet Network International. We talked with Izvorka and Jurica about design.”

Thank you to Slobodna Dalmacija for this opportunity.
