Design Bureau Izvorka Jurić is a leading name in design in the Croatian health tourism segment

In Croatia, three distinct promotional campaigns focusing on health tourism have been organized to date, and the visual identity and materials for all three projects were precisely shaped by Design Bureau Izvorka Jurić.

Health tourism is the fastest-growing segment of the tourism industry and a key component of Croatia’s tourism offering. It is not bound by the summer season, significantly impacting the extension of the tourist season throughout Croatia. Given the exceptional resources and rich tradition in this segment, the Croatian Tourist Board has initiated campaigns aimed at further positioning Croatia’s health tourism offering strongly in the international market.

As part of a broader project of the Croatian Tourist Board, the Design Bureau Izvorka Jurić team designed a brochure on health tourism in Croatia. This marked the beginning of a successful collaboration in this specific and demanding tourism segment.

In the first step, the Croatian Tourist Board, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Health, and the Croatian Chamber of Economy established a strategy for the development of health tourism in Croatia. For trade fair presentations in Germany, Austria, Slovenia, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Switzerland, the Croatian Tourist Board conceived the first brochure presenting Croatian businesses offering services in the field of health tourism that comply with European standards. Design Bureau Izvorka Jurić is credited for its design. The brochure has been translated into 6 languages and, along with video materials, forms the basis for the direct promotion of our health tourism worldwide.

The second significant step in promotion was the organization of a conference on health tourism – Health Spot Croatia. The verbal communication, visual identity, and materials for the conference were conceived and designed by the Design Bureau Izvorka Jurić team.

The conference ‘Health Spot Croatia – Croatia, a Place for Health’ was organized by the Zagreb Tourist Board and the Croatian Tourist Board, in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Health, and the Croatian Chamber of Economy. It was an important event where around 200 participants sought answers to the current state of health tourism in Croatia, discussed perspectives for further development, presented ways to create new products and experiences, introduced participants to examples of best practices, and connected providers of tourism and health services.

After a successful collaboration on the project of the Croatian Tourist Board, Design Bureau Izvorka Jurić was invited to establish verbal and visual communication and design the identity and materials for the conference.

Numerous high-quality professional entities in the field of health tourism, diverse tourist offerings, and natural riches are an ideal combination for positioning Zagreb and its surroundings as a sought-after destination for health tourism. Following the established strategy, the Zagreb Tourist Board and the City of Zagreb initiated a campaign to promote health tourism in the area. As part of this campaign, Design Bureau Izvorka Jurić shaped a health brochure for the city of Zagreb and its surroundings, established a visual identity, and designed materials for presentations at trade fairs in promising markets.

Design Bureau Izvorka Jurić designed promotional materials and a brochure on health tourism in Zagreb and its surroundings for the Zagreb Tourist Board. The brochure has been translated into four languages and presented through trade fair appearances in multiple markets.

Health tourism is an excellent opportunity for positioning Croatia as a year-round tourist destination, and this sector has enormous developmental potential where the correct branding of quality services and offerings is extremely important.
