A Year in Review: Revisiting the Past and Focusing on the Future
A year of growth and change – we rebranded and reflected, and now we’re ready for a nap before digging into new opportunities
Here’s to a successful and inspiring 2025! Before digging into the new opportunities ahead, let’s take a moment to reflect on the highlights of the past year.
In 2024, we focused on our passion for developing brands and designing innovative products and packaging. Every project was an opportunity to push creative boundaries and deliver impactful results.
Projects include the Petkult dog food brand and packaging, Croatian Mint’s special edition packaging for the occasion of Dražen Petrović’s 60th birth anniversary, rebranding of Encian’s large product group, the branding and packaging for the ZERU vina wine brand, rebranding of the Nutris group with a range of different promotional materials, and successful launch of ‘Voda Malih Divova / Small Giants Water’ project of the Šibenik-Knin County Tourist Association.
The 2024 project list also includes rebranding the Bom Dia luxury yacht charters, branding for ZIHER insurance credit brokerage and real estate company, design for Planture fair performance, and packaging design for the French food supplement manufacturer Greenway.
We continued cooperating with our permanent clients, CERU, BITE ART, Fjori Fora, Kaštil Slanica, Omnivia… creating various packaging for the Croatian Mint and various pet food brands associated with Pet Network International.
These projects have strengthened the bond between our team and the incredible clients, collaborators, and suppliers we’ve enjoyed working with. We deeply appreciate their invaluable contributions to making each project a success.
2024 was also marked by the mini-retrospective exhibition ‘Design from the Shelves’ held at the Croatian Design Society Gallery. Throughout the exhibition, we conducted numerous guided tours where we engaged visitors in discussions about the design process and shared insights into the creation of each project. Read more about the exhibition and projects in Marko Golub’s article ‘STORIES WORTH ATTENTION – about Dig studio and packaging design.’
We have received several awards, including IdejaX and Wolda, and the third prize at the HDD—TZ SDŽ design competition. Our work has also been showcased in prestigious publications like the Pentaward blog, with studio interviews ranging from Croatian’s Grazia to Germany’s Creative Verpacken.
One of the most exciting events of last year was the inclusion of Sampé Gin in Dieline’s 2024 Trend Report exhibit, “The Future Unboxed.” The exhibit brought to life the latest industry trends at the LUXE PACK conference in Los Angeles.
Our Creative and Art Director, Izvorka Jurić, has been a guest on podcasts, panels, and conferences, such as the Dan Za Podcast, the Packaging 360 panel at Days of Communication, and The Geek Gathering conference. She has also participated in selecting the best as a jury member for the prestigious Wow Packaging Award, IdejaX Award, and DA2 Film Festival.
Last year, we rebranded into Dig studio and started a new chapter. As part of our strategic direction, we are implementing a change in ownership structure, which will open new opportunities for development. Simultaneously, we are undertaking an internal reorganization to streamline processes, improve communication, and focus on innovation and team expansion.
We are thrilled to kick off the New Year by collaborating with both longstanding and new clients from Croatia, the Netherlands, France, the UK, Romania, Kuwait, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Excitingly, the start of the year has already brought us some captivating opportunities, including designing for a sustainable fashion brand, creating branding for an innovative beauty tech product, rebranding the iconic wooden fountain pens, developing unique packaging for dental products, rebranding pet food brands for dogs and cats, and much more.
As we look ahead, we’re excited to tackle new challenges, explore fresh collaborations, and continue creating with passion and purpose. Here’s to a year of growth and creativity!
Last year, we announced our plans to launch our first Dig Studio merchandise but didn’t manage to bring it to life as planned. Don’t miss out—2025 is the year we make it happen!
Still here? Either you love us, or you’re procrastinating. Either way, we’re impressed!
We’re grateful for your support and look forward to a future filled with success, progress, and continued collaboration.
