Our packaging design for the Croatian Mint’s Dražen Petrović commemorative coin collection has been featured in the May 2025 issue of creativ verpacken, a German trade magazine dedicated to packaging design, production, and marketing.
The article, titled Honoring a Legend, explores the design concept behind the collection, created to mark the 60th anniversary of the legendary Croatian basketball player’s birth.
Inspired by the world of basketball, the packaging transforms the familiar shape and visual language of a basketball into a distinctive presentation for the commemorative coins. Developed across several editions, the design combines a strong narrative with carefully considered materials, construction and finishing details.
We’re delighted to see the project featured in an international specialist publication, and especially pleased that the editorial explores the thinking and design decisions behind the final result.
