The Graphis Design Annual is a prestigious publication that highlights the best in design worldwide. Published by Graphis Inc., a leading international publisher of books on communication design, the annual showcases award-winning work in various categories such as branding, posters, packaging, and more.
SAMPÉ gin is a strong alcoholic drink distilled in Croatia from the finest Croatian grapes. The originally designed bottle has a front texture resembling the sea surface. The brand name is mirror-printed on the back of the bottle, so when observed from the front, through the gin liquid, it gives the impression that the brand name Sampé is under the seawater. This position slightly distorts the typography and creates exciting shapes and structures that change as the bottle is turned in the hand or the viewing angle is adjusted.
