BITE Zagreb art cookies 

BITE Zagreb is the first product in a line of BITE ART artistic paprenjak cookies conceived as destination souvenirs. The series is designed to promote major Croatian tourist destinations through products such as BITE Split, BITE Pula, BITE Zadar, and others. Each city in the series is represented by a custom illustration created in collaboration with Croatian illustrators who live or work in the city featured on the product.

The motifs in the illustration come together to tell the story of Zagreb – its culture, architecture, museums, food, parks, customs, and people. The selected illustration style is closely connected to the concept of the product and presents Zagreb in the distinctive BITE ART way. BITE Zagreb is the result of a collaboration between project founder Ana Šerić, designer Izvorka Jurić, and illustrator Tea Jurišić.

When the package is opened, the bottom of the box unfolds into a “bowl” for serving the cookies, featuring an illustration of a traditional Zagreb saucer. The packaging encourages the traditional Croatian paprenjak cookies decorated with Zagreb motifs to be served and enjoyed together with family and friends.
