For its tenth anniversary, ZDL Architectural Studio from Rijeka, Croatia, organised an event called “Arhitek-tura”. For the occasion, a modular leaflet was designed and distributed to guests – architects, clients, and media representatives – as part of the overall experience and as a keepsake.

The task was to design a leaflet consisting of three separate parts, distributed to guests one by one at the three locations where the celebration took place. Each part communicated the location the guests were visiting and represented one of three architectural categories – Work&Home, Leisure&Public, and Sport&Health.

The leaflet was conceived as an architectural puzzle – three separate 3D objects that reveal three of the studio’s projects when their QR codes are scanned. The three parts eventually come together to form a single object held in place with an elastic band.

The form of the complete object is inspired by the dynamic forms of ZDL’s architectural projects. The colours and other graphic elements are derived from the visual identity designed by Filburg studio.
